Advanced Online Teaching Strategies Course Begins March 6th

Do you want to bring your online teaching to the next level?

If you would like to expand your teaching skill set the Office of Online Learning and Services has an exciting opportunity for you. We invite you to register for Advanced Online Teaching Strategies (AOTS), an optional three-week, asynchronous online course that builds upon the teaching techniques covered in the Online Teaching Essentials course.  This course is intended to introduce faculty who have experience teaching online or hybrid to topics and strategies that go beyond the basics.

AOTS addresses critical areas of online teaching including engagement and interaction, active learning, and authentic assessment.  During this course you will work collaboratively in a hands-on environment designed to provide you with the student experience while developing your teaching skills.

The course runs from Monday, March 6, 2017 to Sunday, March 26, 2017.  Completing this course typically requires at least 6 to 8 hours per week.  If interested, please register promptly as seats are limited.  To learn more about the course click here.
